Get your own WordPress blog

Click on https://wordpress.com/start/delta-blog/design-type-with-store to create Your own WordPress blog

Step 1: Let's create a blog

• Give a name to your site
• Select "Share ideas..."
• Select Beginner

Step 2: Choose a theme

• Select  Skip for now

Step 3: Let's give your site an address

• Write the name of your site
• Select the free option

Step 4: Pick a plan that's right for you

• Select Free

Step 5: Create your account

• Fill the required fields
• Click Continue

Congratulations! Your site is live!

• Click View my site 

Welcome to WordPress.com

Confirm your email

Be careful!! Open your email, find The "Activate" email and confirm your email address to activate your account!

So you will see the page of your blog!

Bookmark (add to favorites) the address and save your password!!!

The different modes of your site

There are three modes on a WordPress blog-site

• The Administrative viewthis is the private view, it is only accessible to the persons with administrative rights.
• The View site option that gives you the ability to see the appearance of your site 
• The  Visit sitelink. Clicking on this you will access the public site. 

Don't forget that your site is public and visible! If you want to hide the public view go to Settings and select hidden or private.

Exercise

Familiarize with the different modes of your blog- site. Note the differences between the different screen sizes (screen, tablet, mobile)
