In this exercise you will practice your column layout skills. Your end goal is to create a newspaper front page like the image below.

Instructions

Open the file column-layout-exercise-start.odt. You will work on this document. Also open the column-layout-exercise-solution.pdf file to use as a guide.

Newspaper name text (The New York Times)

Font: Courier 10 Pitch, 32, bold, italic, loose character spacing, center alignment, borders.

Article title text (July 20, .....)

Font: Liberation Serif, 24. Use paragraph spacing to increase space from above

Image

Insert and position the image first-man-on-the-moon.jpg. As usual use Wrap Off and the default anchoring to Paragraph.

Lead Text (July 1969. It's a little ...)

Font: Liberation Serif, 12, bold

Column Text

Select the text and create a section column layout. Set column layout with 2 columns, spacing 0.50cm

Your document should fit inside one page

Save your file (odt) and submit.
