  Terminology and aims of the course:

  • WEB tools
  • HTML - CSS, Bootstrap
  • JavaScript, JavaScript Libraries

  Daily a web developer uses a variety of tools for doing his job, for collaborating with other developers, to get feedback, and suggest improvements.
  Some of these tools are specialized code editors such as the Visual studio editor, the node.js that lets developers use JavaScript to produce dynamic web page content, Git, Github as Version Control Systems for tracking changes in computer files and coordinating work on those files among multiple people, WordPress etc.

  
  

  A very powerful tool for acquiring new and modern skills in HTML-CSS is Bootstrap.
  Bootstrap is a free front-end framework for faster and easier web development. Bootstrap also gives the ability to build responsive, mobile-first projects.
  Bootstrap includes HTML and CSS based design templates as well as optional JavaScript plugins.

  
  

  JavaScript is the most popular language among web developers. They have created many JavaScript-based libraries and frameworks such as node.js, p5.js, Angular etc.
  We will examine, p5.js that makes coding accessible for artists, scientists designers and educators and Angular that creates Single Page Applications for WEB and Mobile WEB.

  You will also see the way we use these.

  Version control. Git - Github. In this submoldule, you will learn what version control is.
  This submodule also introduces the first steps to set up your Git and Github repositories and establish communication between these.

  WEB Server. In this submodule, you will learn to upload files to our WEB Server via FileZilla.
  You also learn how to grab the URL and serve your site.
